The Walking Stick On The Journey

It’s okay to ask people for help. In fact, it’s a great skill to have, because there are moments when you’ll need help.

But be wary.

Help is always temporary. Never depend on it. Never let it become your walking stick.

You’re gonna have to learn to walk instead.

  • So people can walk beside you, not try to “support” you along the journey. (It’s tiring for them).
  • And you can let people walk beside you, not try to “support” them through the journey. (It’s tiring for you).

It’s ok to help. It’s also okay not to.

Together, we’ll go far.

Previous Help, Or Don't Next Be Grateful, But Not Overly Grateful
