Accepting What You Reject
We rarely see the full picture.
And we project on the world with our coloured lenses, based on what we believe to be true.
But the good news is our beliefs are just stories.
- They’re stories told to us.
- Or stories we create.
Which means it’s possible to invent another story that allows you to see, receive, and even accept what we are rejecting.
Because what we reject usually comes from an angle we don’t see.
Conjuring a new point of view is an exercise in opening our minds and, with curiosity, ask: “What’s happening? Why does this happen?”
We begin there.
And soon, we see the world in a different light.
This links back to my first article about the cause of depression and how to resolve it.
Few things that might help
The most important part is opening our minds and being curious.
If you’re interested in opening up further, here are some additional resources that can help:
- Trained coaches
- Very well-trained psychologists
- The Art Of Possibility
- Pathways to Possibility
- Trauma-related programs for unhooking unresolved traumas (like TCC)
Hope this helps!
